What You Need to Start Hosting Your Hytale Server

Before you get started, here are a few things you will need to play on your Hytale server:

• Hytale account: Ensure you own a copy of Hytale with a valid account. (If you can already play Hytale, you have this covered).
• Akliz Hosting Plan: Choose a suitable hosting plan based on your needs. Some servers may need more than others. Check out the pricing page here to purchase one, or contact support via the chat bubble on the bottom right of the site if you don't know which plan is right for you. We recommend the 4GB Hero Tier plan or above.
• Internet Requirements: Make sure you have a stable internet connection. Almost all broadband connections should be able to play easily.

Step-by-Step Guide to Setting up a Hytale Server

Step 1: Sign Up for Akliz Hosting

1. Create an account here.
2. Navigate to the Pricing Page and choose the plan that's right for you.
3. Click "Buy Now" next to the plan you want.
4. Take a look at everything in the Plan Overview section and make sure all of your choices look good. Plan Terms longer than Monthly will have a discounted price per month!
5. Click Next.
6. Add a payment method. This can be a credit/debit card or PayPal.
7. Click "Pay Now" to finalize your payment and start your plan!

Step 2: Access the Command Center

Navigate to the Command Center and make your you are still logged in. This will bring you to your Servers page. Here, you will be able to see a list of any servers you have created.

With a new plan, you will not see any new servers. To get started with a Hytale server, you will need to create a new server.

Step 3: Create a new Hytale Server

With any Akliz plan, once you have a plan you can start creating servers. These servers, when started, use your purchased RAM. You can see how much RAM you have used and available, as well as how many servers you can create and run on the left side of the Servers page.

1. On the Servers page, click on "Create a Server" to start creating a server.
2. Select "Hytale" from the list of available games.
3. On the next page, you will be able to create a Friendly Address that will be used to connect to your server. You can put anything you'd like here, as long as it is not already taken.
4. In the same page, you can choose your RAM. The default is the minimum amount required for the game, but if you bought a plan with extra RAM, you can increase this up to the amount you purchased.
5. Click "Create" to initialize the server.
6. Once it is created, you can start your server by clicking the blue "Play" icon or click on "Manage" next to your server and click "Start" and the top right of the page.
7. Before the server can be joined, the server will need to be authenticated. Click on "Manage" next to your server to view the Console. Once the server has finished loading, you will see the message "Hytale Server Booted!" to show the server has started. In the Console, type /auth login device to start the authentication process.
8. After running the command, there will be two links and a code.
   1. First method: Log into your Hytale account, then open the Verification Page. Copy the code generated in the Console, then paste it into the Verification Page. Follow the instructions until you see "Authentication successful!" in the server console.
   2. Second method: If you are already logged into your account, copy the second URL created after running the command. This will take you directly through the verification process. Follow the instructions until you see "Authentication successful!" in the server console.
   3. The verification process has a 10-minute timer to complete. If the server is not verified in 10 minutes, repeat Step 7.
9. Once authenticated, the server is ready to join. However, if the server is stopped, the server will need reverification, repeating Steps 7 and 8. To keep the server verified after restarts, run the command /auth persistence Encrypted to persist verification.
10. Your server is ready to go!
