Set a Player as Admin on a Valheim Server

  1. Find your SteamID64 by looking it up on the SteamID I/O website.
  2. Click on the Files tab on Command Center and navigate to the adminlist.txt file.
  1. Fill in the SteamID64 that you looked up, prefixed with "V_". You can put more than one admin as long as you put one on each line:
// List admin players ID  ONE per line
V_yourSteam64ID
V_anotherSteam64ID
  1. Click on Save and restart your server.
  2. In Steam, right-click on your Valheim install, click on Properties and add -console to the LAUNCH OPTIONS on the GENERAL tab.

  1. Open up your game and connect to your server.
  2. Hit the F5 key and you can use admin commands in the console that comes up.
