Connecting to your Vintage Story Server

Once you have a Vintage Story online and running, it's time to join the server. These instructions will show how to connect to a server.

Find your Server Address

1. From the Servers page, click on Manage next to the server
2. There will be two addresses: a Friendly Address and an IP Address. There are two ways to copy the address:
   1. Friendly: Copy the Friendly Address, then paste the Port at the end. The server address should look like myserver.g.akliz.net:12345
   2. IP: Copy the IP Address, then paste the Port at the end. The server address should look like 123.45.67.89:12345

Joining from your Servers List

1. From the main menu, click the Multiplayer menu option.
2. Click Add New Server in the bottom right of the window.
3. Fill out the information
   1. Server Name - This is an optional name you can give the server, and it can be anything you want.
   2. Host / IP Address - This is the Friendly Address or IP:Port address from the Command Center page for your server. The address you will want to use will be from the previous instructions.
   3. Server Password (if any) - This is the server password you set, if you set one. If you didn't, you can leave it blank.
4. Click Create.
5. Click the server entry you just created in the list to join your server.
