Op a Player on a Vintage Story Server

Giving a player Op privileges allows them to run server commands in the game such as /ban, /kick,/gm As Op’ed players have great power, it’s critical that you only op players who you absolutely trust. Op’ing a player is different than giving someone in Command Center administrative access, which allows him or her to access our website to control your server.

1. From the server list, find the server you want to modify, and click the Manage button on the right.
2. From the server you selected, you should already be on the Console tab, but if not, select it.
3. Type: /op yourplayername in the console and press enter.
4. The changes should take effect right away, and you don’t need to restart or log back in.
