Op a Player on a Vintage Story Server
Giving a player Op privileges allows them to run server commands in the game such as /ban, /kick,/gm As Op’ed players have great power, it’s critical that you only op players who you absolutely trust. Op’ing a player is different than giving someone in Command Center administrative access, which allows him or her to access our website to control your server.
Make a player Op
- Login to Command Center.
- From the Servers list, find the server you want to modify, and click the Manage button on the right.
- From the server you selected, you should already be on the Console tab, but if not, select it.

/op <player>in the console and press Enter. - The changes should take effect right away, and you don’t need to restart or log back in.
Remove Op from a player

- From the Servers list, find the server you want to modify, and click the Manage button on the right.
