Setting an Admin Password

Before you can edit server config in-game, you need to set an admin password. Here's how to do that.

1. Log into the Command Center, and navigate to the file /conan-exiles/ConanSandbox/Saved/Config/WindowsServer/ServerSettings.ini.
2. Add this line at the bottom: AdminPassword=typeyourpasswordhere
3. Save the file, and restart your server.

Editing Server Config In-Game

Now you can use the in-game admin panel. Here's how.

1. Log into your server.
2. Open the pause menu and click "Settings".
   
3. Click the "Server Settings" tab.
4. Click "Make Me Admin".
   
5. Enter the admin password you just set and click "OK".
6. Close out of the menu completely, then go back into it to make all options available.

You can now change all settings in this menu. There are several subcategories of settings on the left. Some settings may require a server restart, and it will let you know this when you exit the settings menu if it does need one. You can easily restart the game in the Command Center by clicking "RESTART" at the top of the page.

These include almost all server settings in the game, and all of the most frequently changed settings. If you need additional settings that are not included in this menu, see the instructions below on how to change advanced settings.

Editing the Main Config File

The primary config file for Conan Exiles servers can be found at /conan-exiles/ConanSandbox/Saved/Config/WindowsServer/ServerSettings.ini.

In this config file, you can change or add hundreds of different configuration options, too many to list here. Many of these options can also be set more easily in the in-game server configuration. Using the Admin Panel

You can use the Admin Panel once you have made yourself an admin from the first steps on this page. To open the Admin Panel, open the pause menu and click "ADMIN PANEL" here:

Once you're in, you can do all sorts of things like spawn in items and NPCs, manage online players, enter god mode, set the current time, and many other things.
