Enable a Disabled Mod on a Feed the Beast Client and Server

Some Feed the Beast modpacks may have disabled mods. To enable one of these, you’ll need to enable it on both the client and your server. Enabling a mod on the server requires connecting via SFTP and renaming the specific mod file.
Enable a Mod on Your Client
- Start the FTB Launcher on your computer.
- Click Edit Mod Pack.
- Click the mod in Disabled Mods.
- Click
<< Enable
. - Repeat for each mod you wish to enable.
Enable a Mod on Your Server
- Log into the server SFTP.
- On the Remote site, open the game folder, and then mods.
- Each disabled mod should be named
modname.zip.disabled
. modname is an example. - Right-click
modname.zip.disabled
and rename it tomodname.zip
. - Repeat for each mod you wish to enable.
- Restart your server.
Special Notes About Biomes O’Plenty
Using Biomes O’Plenty requires adjusting server.properties
and resetting the world.
- Log into Command Center and go to Files.
- Set
level-type
tolevel-type=BIOMESOP
. - Reset the world.
